a conversation taking shape is an experiment with speed and composition. the images in these drawings were inspired by camille roy’s essay my x story. in this 9-page comic, i wanted to create something like a groggy memory of a conversation: a wordless, shifting representation that still conveys emotion, movement, sound, light, and texture.
